Ramadhan 1440 A.H

It is with great pleasure that I once again have the opportunity to announce the success of our annual Iftar program for Mumineen and Muminaat in various remote and far-flung villages in the coastal regions of Kenya. This year, by the Grace of Almighty Allah (S.W.T) and your continuous support for our cause, we were able to reach over 28 centers in areas such as Samburu, Rabai, Kinango, Kwale and even as far as Lamu!

Our program successfully managed to feed over six thousand Mumineen and Muminaat for all the days of the Holy Month of Ramadhan. All the centers had the food packages dropped off before the commencement of the Holy Month and thereafter a fixed menu list was created for all centers to enjoy the same type of food on each night of the Holy Month which was cooked by a group of Muminaat from each center.

Some of the centers we were able to reach with our Iftar Program were as follows:
Masjid Ahlul-Bayt - Chamgame, MombasaMasjid Bibi Fatimatuz-Zahra - Jimba, RabaiHassan Al-Mujtaba Center - Mtandikeni, RabaiMasjid Ahlul-Kisaa - Mwembeni, SamburuMasjid Al-Jawad - Patanane, KwaleMasjid Imam Mahdi - Dambale, KwaleKhadijatul Kubra Center - Buguta, KwaleMasjid Bibi Zainab - MarondoMasjid Noor - Tswaka, KwaleMasjid Jafariya - KwaleMasjid Hassan Al-Mujtaba - UlongoniMasjid Imam Al-Hujjah - MafusaMasjid Al-Farsi - Mwele, KwaleMasjid Zahra - Mbararani, KwaleMasjid Bibi Umm Kulthum - Vyogato, KwaleMadrasah Zaynul Abideen - Kajiweni, KwaleMasjid Abulfadhlul Abbas - BoyaniMasjid Ahlul Bayt - DumbuleHazrat Abu-Twalib Center, MwaruphesaAl-Masumeen Center, NgonziniGhadeer Khum Center, Mlunguni.

The joy on the faces of these mu’mineen, especially the children, was a sight to soften the hardest of hearts and gave us the conviction and motivation to continue on this path set for us by Muhammad wa Aale Muhammad over 1400 years ago.
